Title: Business Development Officer (for safety glass product)

Skill Requirements:

    Education: Completion of university
    Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable
    Experience: 6 - 9 years

    Area of Specialization: Business or commercial development, Marketing
    Specific Skills: Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers, Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles, Conduct analytical marketing studies, Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends, Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals, Design market research questionnaires, Develop feasibility studies, Develop marketing strategies, Develop business plans
    Additional Skills: Perform administrative tasks, Use computer applications

    Specific Skills: Promote sales to existing clients, Identify and solicit potential clients, Assess client's needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services, Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs, Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, Resolve product and service related problems, Read and understand blueprints, Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
