CSG Automotive Glass was Bought By Xinyi Glass
On 31 of Oct.2007, XINYI(868.HK) announced it has bought the China Southern Glass (CSG) Automotive Glass Division. XINYI is a leading automotive glass, float glass, architectural glass and solar glass manufacturer in China, the 100% shares deal was done by a payment of 237million HK dollar from XINYI. After the transaction, Shenzhen CSG Automotive Glass will be the subsidiary of XINYI.

XYG Acquires Shenzhen CS Automobile Glass to Boost Position and Share in Global Automobile Glass Market
(Hong Kong, 30 October 2007) – Leading integrated float glass, automobile and construction glass manufacturer Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited (“Xinyi Glass” or the "Group”) (stock code: 868) has signed an agreement to acquire the entire equity interest in Shenzhen China Southern Automobile Glass Company Limited (“Shenzhen CS Automobile Glass”) (「深圳南玻汽車玻璃有限公司」) from China Southern Glass Holding Co., Ltd. (“CSG Group”) (「中國南玻集團股份有限公司」) (Shenzhen Exchange Stock code: 000012). After the acquisition is completed, Shenzhen CS Automobile Glass will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xinyi Glass.

Successful Ignition of Xinyi Glass's Ultra Clear PV Glass Production Line
August 28, 2007, marks another milestone for Xinyi Glass in its ultra clear PV glass manufacturing with ignition of the melting furnace and commissioning of its 300 ton/day low iron textured glass production line.
The ultra clear PV glass production line is designed to produce textured glass with over 91% solar transmittance to meet the increasing market demand by crystalline solar module manufacturers.
The successful ignition of the ultra clear glass production line will further elevate Xinyi Glass's capabilities in its production of specialized high quality glass products for the global market.
